Swm: Henry breaks 100m freestyle world record

Australia's JODIE HENRY has broken the women's 100m freestyle world record in the semi-finals
of the Olympic competition.

HENRY clocked 53.52 seconds - 0.14 seconds under the old mark set by compatriot LIBBY
LENTON in the semi-finals of the Australian Olympic trials in March.

LENTON was swimming in a different semi-final and has failed to advance to tomorrow's final.
