Vic: Motorcyclist killed at Ferntree Gully
A motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with a car in Melbourne's east.
Police say the accident occurred shortly before 8am (AEDT) at the intersection of FerntreeGully road and Mountain Gate drive, Ferntree Gully.
The motorcyclist died at the scene.
His name and age have not yet been released.
The death takes Victoria's road toll to 45, compared to 50 at the same time last year.
